Ingredients

  • 1 tube Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough 16.5 oz
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping thawed
  • 12 oz Fresh Raspberries 3 to 4 cups
  • 1 dry pint Fresh Blueberries about 2 cups

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice sugar cookie dough into 1/4 inch pieces. Place on a greased 12-inch pizza pan and press into an even layer.
  • Bake cookie crust for 11-12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely. Wash and dry berries.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in half of the whipped topping, then fold in the rest.
  • Spread a little less than half of the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie crust.
  • Arrange blueberries to form the flag's blue section. Use raspberries to create 7 red stripes. Pipe the remaining cream cheese mixture to create white stripes.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For an extra touch, bake one cookie slice separately, cut it into a star shape, and place it on top of the blueberries.
