Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, rinse with cold water, and drain again. Set aside.
Chop romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces, discarding the core.
In a large bowl, add lettuce, cold pasta, cooked chicken, parmesan cheese, croutons, and dressing.
Toss the salad to coat evenly with the dressing. Add black pepper if desired.
Serve immediately to prevent the lettuce from becoming soggy.
Notes
You can prepare ahead but wait to toss with dressing until ready to serve. Feel free to customize with toppings like bacon, shrimp, or boiled eggs.
