Mango Iced Tea

This homemade Mango Iced Tea is fresh, fruity, and delicious! Perfect for a summer refreshment or to serve to guests at parties.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Black Tea Bags or 2 tsp loose leaf tea
  • 1 Ripe Mango or frozen mango cubes
  • 4 cups Water divided
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Boil 2 cups of water and steep the tea bags in a large pitcher for about 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of water with diced mango. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a puree.
  • Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea. Add honey and stir well.
  • Allow the tea to cool down. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mango slices if desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
